Following the Faber's Log Home Journey

The Fabers started building their dream Beaver Mountain log home a couple years ago and documented every step through story and pictures on their on-line blog. Be sure to check it out at http://pointsofcompass.blogspot.com/search/label/log%20home (also linked at right under "Joated"). You will be sure to join in their delight as you "watch" the project unfold, especially now as it is nearing completion!

Beaver Mountain featured in Country's Best

The May 2008 issue of Country's Best Log Homes features an article entitled "Creating the Personal Touch" that focuses on specialty rooms. The loft/bonus room of Beaver Mountain's Classic Lodge floorplan was one of the rooms highlighted. The description reads, "This bonus room above the garage functions as the perfect hobby space, but can also serve as guest quarters or a playroom. The size (414 square feet), versatility, and convenient location make it a true bonus room."

The Classic Lodge floorplan can be found on our website, http://www.beavermtn.com/, and be sure to pick up a copy of Country's Best at your nearest bookstore or newsstand to read the whole article!
